I am an Instrument Support Astronomer at the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT) Observatory at the University of Arizona. My primary scientific interests are in the formation and evolution of galaxies, cosmology, and the high-redshift universe. Most of my current research is done at visual and near infrared wavelengths (0.4 to 2.0 microns). The image of NGC891, shown above, is the first light image from the LBT, obtained through a blue filter. Normally I do not work on such bright galaxies, but this was for public release. Additional astronomical images can be found in my Image gallery.
